The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) provides economic analysis and forecasts for more than 200 countries around the world. John Ferguson, the Director of Country Analysis at EIU, will offer insights into economic and political developments, and provide economic forecasts for different regions. He will also touch on the business environments with the best opportunities for growth and investment. This analysis can benefit economic strategists, researchers, and anyone interested in business and economics.

The purpose of this lecture is to familiarize participants with business laws and regulations for establishing commercial companies within Qatar. It will also highlight important concepts such as business startup requirements, forms of commercial property, intellectual property protection law, labor and employment law, and commercial contracts law.

Sewing is one of the oldest professions, starting with a simple needle and thread through the development of the modern sewing machine. By using machine to sew fabric and other materials together with thread, people could make better, less expensive clothing. Join us every Saturday in November to create your own standard skirt and take your sewing skills from beginning to professional in one month with creator Nada Jabber Al Ani.

During this session, we will hear from Haji Jaber, Katara Prize for Arabic Novel winner for Black Foam, about the writing process. This session will be held in Arabic with English interpretation provided.
