Join us to discover and explore the Library's various online resources for middle school and high school students, including research tools, ebooks, audiobooks and periodicals.

Join this casual gathering of knitters and crocheters every Thursday from 9:00 – 11:00 AM to work on projects and share skills in a friendly atmosphere. Participants are welcome to bring their own supplies and projects or borrow the Library’s needles and yarn. All skill levels are welcome, including beginners who are interested in learning. Be sure to check out our collection of books on knitting and crochet while you’re here!

As we know, there are many common customs and traditions between Qatar and India, and there is a long and rich history between the two countries. In this lecture, held in cooperation with the Qatari Authors' Forum, we will learn about these customs and traditions, how they have affected Qatari society, and how time and societal developments have changed them.

What do children know about financial literacy? Join us in this program to develop and build your child’s financial skills, and learn about the importance of money, saving and banking.

Join us at the Library for a concert by the Ministry of Defense's Music Battalion Unit. The unit will play pieces inspired by the Qatari arts, and it will use traditional music instruments to reflect authentic Qatari culture.

Bookshare is an online database for people with print disabilities. It provides audiobooks, read-along books, DAISY talking books, and braille and large-font books. You can customize your reading experience with ebooks in formats that work according to your needs. This event will help you find resources on Bookshare; the latter part of the program will teach you how to register for membership. Bookshare account registration is every Monday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.

Join us for Storytime every Monday at the Children's Library. In November, we will read stories about India and the Far East.
