Join us to discover and explore the Library's various online resources for middle school and high school students, including research tools, ebooks, audiobooks and periodicals.

Join this casual gathering of knitters and crocheters every Thursday from 9:00 – 11:00 AM to work on projects and share skills in a friendly atmosphere. Participants are welcome to bring their own supplies and projects or borrow the Library’s needles and yarn. All skill levels are welcome, including beginners who are interested in learning. Be sure to check out our collection of books on knitting and crochet while you’re here!

Sensory stories are a great way to support children with special needs. Join us for this specially designed multisensory story program for children with an autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder or a developmental disability. Kids will enjoy sensory storytelling and other multisensory activities. 

Board games are a fun way to let off some competitive steam and make new friends. Join us in the Main Plaza for two hours of friendly matches. Games will be available to borrow at the Information Desk. 

Coloring can be a soothing technique for children and parents alike. Bring your child and enjoy this fun coloring activity together.

Need a place to study? How about some help with your homework or assignments? The Library is the place to be! We will have volunteers ready to support you with your academic needs in math, science and English.

The Creative Writing Circle for Adults is an opportunity for creative writers to come together and share their work. The group provides inspiration, feedback and encouragement in a supportive environment. So whatever stage you’re at, come along and get writing!

Join us for Storytime every Monday at the Children's Library. In March, we will read stories about science and make up our own together.

Be inspired to save the oceans! The Library welcomes the founders of Green Mangroves, a not-for-profit project founded in Qatar in 2015 to bring people together to protect the country's oceans and mangroves. Join this workshop to learn about Qatar's mangroves, the state of our oceans today, and the simple steps you can take to reduce your plastic use to protect the oceans.
