Join us in this workshop, led by Professor Abdullah Baabood and moderated by Mr Jassim Alshamari, which offers a practical, reflective introduction to the methods used to analyse and document Qatar’s contemporary history within the wider Gulf context.

We invite you to attend this lecture, presented by Professor Abdullah Baabood, Chair of the State of Qatar for Islamic Area Studies at Waseda University in Tokyo, and moderated by Mr. Jassim Alshamari, a historian and lecturer at the Community College of Qatar.  The lecture offers an in-depth analytical reading of Qatar’s historical trajectory in recent decades, highlighting the key political, social, and cultural transformations that have contributed to shaping the modern state.

Qatar National Library is pleased to host its fifth Winter Camp for Children and Young adults, offering many exciting activities.

This workshop, part of our fifth Winter Camp, will introduce some of the basic techniques and concepts of 3D modeling and 3D modeling software. Participants will learn how to create 3D models using specialized CAD rendering software and how to prepare the files for 3D printing.
