Your health is important to us! The Library is pleased to invite you to our Health, Wellness and Sports Fair. Join us in the Main Plaza to learn about health trends and resources, meet and interact with health experts, and participate in different wellness activities.

Join us for two hours of creative fun with Lego bricks! In this team-building activity organized by Qatar National Library, groups of five to seven participants must work together to build an architectural structure. We provide the Lego bricks— you provide the imagination!

On the eve of the 150th anniversary of the death of Mirza Ghalib, the Library and Bazm-e-Urdu will celebrate the enduring legacy of the famed 19th-century Urdu and Persian poet. We will honor him with a short lecture about his life and work, along with recitations of his famous ghazals and poems.

At Inspirational Individuals, you'll meet people who have excelled in their field as they share their motivational stories. In this session, we'll hear from Dana Al Mannai, an engineer, entrepreneur, artist and adventurer.

Join this casual gathering of knitters and crocheters every Thursday from 9:00 – 11:00 AM to work on projects and share skills in a friendly atmosphere. Participants are welcome to bring their own supplies and projects or borrow the Library’s needles and yarn. All skill levels are welcome, including beginners who are interested in learning. Learn how to easily create your own beats and melodies with Groovebox, a free mobile music studio for iOS devices. In this hands-on session, you will be introduced to the main functions of the app and learn how to control it with the Launchkey Mini keyboard controller.

Children can explore the fun side of science by conducting experiments that teach scientific fundamentals and reveal secrets of the world around us.

ProQuest databases provide a single source for scholarly journals, newspapers, reports, working papers, datasets and ebooks. You'll also learn how to produce instant bibliographies and generate citations using RefWorks.

The Writers’ Circle is an opportunity for creative writers to come together and share their work. The group will provide inspiration, feedback and encouragement in a supportive environment. So whatever stage you’re at, come along and get writing! Sessions will be held between 9 – 11 AM on Tuesdays.
