Join photographer Mohammed Jassim Al-Baker, the presenter of the Al-Rayyan TV program Birds of Qatar, to explore the migratory birds and the native birds that live in Qatar. In this program, we will also highlight how he prepares for his trips to take pictures of wildlife.

Dr. James Leong, a geochemist, astrobiologist and early career scientist at Columbia University, will talk about how studying extreme environments here on Earth can help us in our search for life on other planets.

We are pleased to invite middle school and high school students to attend a virtual workshop on the crime of violating the sanctity of private life, held in cooperation with the Legal Awareness Unit at the Legal and Judicial Studies Center of the Ministry of Justice. The workshop will teach the students how to use social media safely to avoid committing the crime of violating Qatar's privacy laws. Join us in this lecture to find out how these violations occur and their penalties.

The Qatari family has changed in composition and size over the generations. There are several reasons that led to this change, including economic and social factors. In this lecture, held in cooperation with the Doha International Family Institute (DIFI), we will discuss the changes that have occurred in the Qatari family and their reasons.
